Can you please try to be *more* relevant to my current life? It’s like every Wednesday I have to face myself again!

Suggestions
From Donna's Desk:
There is a special kind of optimism required to put out an employee suggestion box.
There is also a special kind of courage required to open it again a year later.
Because once people write things down, they stop being “general morale concerns” and become evidence.
Asking for feedback is easy. Reading it is harder. Acting on it is where “we value your input” has to become a budget line.
People can usually tell the difference between being invited to contribute and being invited to perform participation. They notice when their ideas disappear into a folder and never come back with a budget, a timeline, or even a polite no.
So I’m curious:
What happened to the last suggestion your workplace asked for?
Have you ever seen feedback treated like a gift instead of a threat?
I’ll be back, and I’m not throwing away the evidence.
Donna
