From Donna's Desk:
A handwritten sign may announce, “Everything is fine.”
The trash can may suggest otherwise.
Most of us are good at cleaning up the visible part of a problem. We straighten the room, offer a quick explanation, and move on.
What matters is whether the problem was actually solved or simply made less noticeable.
That is true of office messes, missed deadlines, morale, and just about every “small issue” that keeps returning.
I do not need perfection. I do need enough honesty to know what I am looking at.
So I’m curious:
What have you seen get cleaned up without really getting fixed?
What clue told you there was more to the story?
I’ll be here, checking whether “fine” has supporting documentation.

If you’ve ever thought, “How am I the only adult in this room?” you’re among friends.
Donna Lake Comic is for the people who keep things moving while everyone else creates new complications. The ones who solve the problem, and keep their actual thoughts safely behind a very controlled facial expression.
It’s a sharp, heartfelt office comedy about corporate nonsense, competence fatigue, quiet leadership, and the strange amount of dignity required to function in an increasingly unreasonable workplace.
Welcome to Donna Lake.
