Corporate told us to “Reflect,” and someone in Facilities responded with a purchase order.

So now we have a mirror. Not a metaphorical mirror. An actual mirror. Mounted like we’re one inspirational quote away from becoming a spin studio.

Some people glance at it and remember they’re a person. Shoulders down. Jaw unclenched. Good. That’s the goal.

Parker, however, saw the mirror and treated it like a personal award ceremony. A perfect specimen receiving his due.

We should bottle it.

Me? I’m trying to keep us in the sweet spot where wellness is real and the work still gets done. The mirror can stay. Just so we’re clear on its intended use:

It’s for checking in with yourself.
Not checking yourself out.
